BRIEF

The Law and Justice Foundation of NSW is an independent statutory body established to contribute to the development of a fair and equitable justice system that addresses the legal needs off the community.

NSF Consulting was commissioned to conduct stakeholder consultation to understand how key stakeholders perceive the role of LJF, their impact, and to identity their priorities and needs over the next three years to evaluate the relevance of their research and identify opportunities.

APPROACH

Natalie conducted a program of 20 face-to-face in-depth interviews via Zoom or Teams with key stakeholders of LJF, including Legal Aid NSW, the Department of Communities and Justice, the Law Society of NSW, Aboriginal Legal Service, university law faculties and other peak bodies in the legal and justice sector.

A synthesised findings report was prepared that combines findings from all stakeholder consultations, as well as an accompanying report presenting summaries of all individuals stakeholder interviews. The Law and Justice Foundation has used the findings of the study to strengthen partnership opportunities with its key stakeholders.
