Evaluation of Streamline Sustainability Program

BRIEF
The Streamline Sustainability Program––funded by the NSW Environmental Trust––offers businesses the chance to take part in a range of sustainability activities, designed to help them introduce sustainable business practices, as well as to network and share information and ideas.
The objectives of the evaluation were to review each project outcome and to provide learnings and recommendations to the Trust that will benefit future sustainability business programs.
APPROACH
The evaluation was both qualitative and quantitative. The research components included a desk top review of consultant reports, program objectives and documentation; consultation with participating businesses, stakeholders and Council staff; and the development of case studies that profile individual businesses.
An Evaluation Report was prepared that included a cost-benefit analysis, reporting of evaluation findings and discussion of strategic recommendations.
